Technical SEO Services in India: What Actually Gets Fixed
Digital Marketing Consultant & Web Developer
“Technical SEO explained honestly — crawl fixes, Core Web Vitals, schema, indexation. What I fix directly in your code, what it costs, and when you need it.”
Technical SEO Is Not Magic — It Is Plumbing
A restaurant owner from Noida called me last month. Beautiful website, great photos, online booking. But Google showed only 4 of his 38 pages. The rest were invisible — not penalised, just ignored because of crawl traps, duplicate URLs from his booking plugin, and a robots.txt rule his old developer left behind "temporarily" two years ago.
That is technical SEO. Making sure Google can find, read, understand and trust every important page — and visitors get a fast experience when they arrive.
I am Rohit Gupta, developer plus SEO specialist from Noida. I do not hand you a PDF and disappear. I open your codebase and fix things myself.

What I Actually Fix
1. Crawlability — Can Google Enter Your Site?
I check robots.txt, sitemap accuracy, internal link depth, orphan pages, and redirect chains eating your crawl budget. On one store I found 11,000 thin filter URLs consuming the whole budget while 200 real product pages were barely crawled. A few canonical rules fixed it in a day.
2. Indexation — Is Google Showing or Ignoring You?
Crawled is not indexed. I compare Search Console coverage against your real page count, find the "discovered but not indexed" gap, and fix the cause — thin content, duplicate templates, weak internal links, missing sitemap signals.
3. Core Web Vitals and Speed
This is where my developer background pays off. Most SEOs write "LCP is 4.2s, ask your developer." I just fix it — images, render-blocking scripts, server response, fonts, layout shift. Client sites routinely go from 30–40 to 90+ Lighthouse because fixes happen in code, not reports.
4. Schema That Earns Rich Results
Hand-written JSON-LD matched to your visible content — review stars, FAQs, products, local business details. Never copied templates, never fake reviews that invite penalties.
5. Architecture, Mobile and Migrations
Authority flows through internal links — buried pages never rank. I rebuild link structure, test on real mid-range Android phones on 4G, verify what Google renders on JS-heavy React/Next.js pages, and map every old URL during redesigns so years of authority never vanish overnight.

Real Fix Diary: 38 Pages Invisible, 4 Showing
The Noida restaurant from this guide's opening deserves the full story. Diagnosis evening revealed three layered problems. A booking plugin generated duplicate URLs for every table slot — 400+ near-identical pages splitting signals. The robots.txt blocked the plugin's directory two years ago "temporarily," accidentally covering the menu pages too. And the XML sitemap listed 2019 URLs, half of them dead.
Fix week: plugin URLs canonicalised to master pages, robots rule rewritten to unblock menus while keeping admin areas closed, sitemap regenerated from the live page inventory, internal links rebuilt so every menu page sat within two clicks of the homepage. Result: indexed pages climbed from 4 to 31 within three weeks, reservation queries entered the top 20 within two months. Total code time: under ten hours spread across a week. The owner had paid two previous agencies for "SEO" that never once opened robots.txt.

5 Technical Mistakes That Bleed Rankings Silently
Mistake 1: redesign without URL mapping. New site launches, old URLs 404, years of backlinks point at nothing. Traffic halves overnight. Every redesign needs a full old-to-new redirect map tested before launch — non-negotiable.
Mistake 2: plugin-generated URL sprawl. Booking, filter and calendar plugins mint thousands of thin URLs that devour crawl budget while real pages starve. Canonicals plus parameter rules contain the sprawl in hours.
Mistake 3: speed reports without fixes. Knowing LCP is 4.2s changes nothing. Most reports die in inboxes because no developer owns implementation. Diagnosis plus direct code access is the only combination that ships improvements.
Mistake 4: schema copied from generators. Template markup mismatched to visible content earns no rich results — or manual actions when reviews are faked. Hand-written schema matched exactly to page content is the only safe kind.
Mistake 5: mobile tested on flagships. Your iPhone 15 on office WiFi is not your customer. Mid-range Android on 4G is the real test — layout shifts, tiny tap targets and unreadable fonts hide on premium devices only.

My Process and Pricing
Day 1–2: deep crawl and plain-language findings ranked by business impact. Week 1–2: quick wins — robots, sitemap, critical speed, broken schema. Month 1–3: structural work. Most clients see Search Console movement in 2–3 weeks, rankings compounding from week 6–8.
A one-time audit runs Rs 8,000–20,000. Monthly retainers with me are Rs 15k–40k according to work — small business sites lower end, large e-commerce or React apps higher. Weekly updates, monthly Search Console report, everything listed before you commit.

Do You Need It? A 60-Second Check
Search Google for site:yourwebsite.com and compare with your real page count. Far fewer pages, mobile speed under 50, or traffic that never recovered after a redesign — you need it. Everything healthy? Spend on content and links instead. I tell you honestly which camp you are in during a free audit — contact me here.
